HomeCareCon Annual Conference & Trade Show
HomeCareCon is HCAF's Annual Conference and Trade Show and the leading and largest home care industry event of the year in the South. Each year we bring together hundreds of industry professionals (approximately 600 on average) spanning agency leadership, clinicians and caregivers, state and national health care and legal experts, and vendors who serve the industry.
We need your support to make our 34th Annual Conference & Trade Show as successful as possible. Our sponsorship program is designed to help you and your organization seek ways to reinforce your position as a market leader in exchange for helping to defray some of our extensive conference costs. Our goal is to offer your organization a wide range of opportunities to create positive exposure that reinforces awareness of your products and services within Florida’s home care industry.
Sponsorship fees range from $100 to $10,000, and there's something for every budget! Sponsors contributing $5,000 or more will receive a complimentary booth at our Trade Show (as space permits). We are willing to work with each sponsor on a case-by-case basis in order to find a perfect match between your marketing objectives and our conference expenses.

In-Person Education Programs
HCAF hosts approximately 100 live continuing education and professional development programs per year, both in-person and online/virtual. The typical cost for sponsoring a program is $10 per attendee. HCAF is willing to discuss setting a cap, depending on the registration rate for attendees and the number of expected attendees.
In-person programs provide the following benefits of sponsorship:
- If a representative from your organization is interested in attending a sponsored, in-person program, you are welcome to set up a table, hand out marketing materials, and network with attendees before the program begins, during registration, during breaks (full-day programs typically have one morning break, lunch break, and an afternoon break), and after the program.
- At the beginning of the program, your organization's representative would be welcome to introduce the speaker(s), if desired.
- Toward the end of the lunch period, your representative will have the opportunity to present a product demonstration or present an introduction to the attendees (usually 10-15 minutes).
- If lunch is served in the classroom, your representative will have access to the laptop being used to run the presentation (e.g., to demonstrate a product, show your website, play a video, etc.).
- If lunch is served in a different room, HCAF can make arrangements for lunch to be cut 10-15 minutes short and ask participants to return to the classroom, or your organization can pay any additional audio/visual fees to arrange for a 10-15 minute presentation within the room where lunch is being served.
- If your representative would like to present during the entire lunch period, HCAF would expect that you would cover the entire meal bill as our lunch sponsor.
For more information, email Patti Heid, Senior Director, Best Practice and Compliance, at pheid@homecarefla.org or call (850) 566-6999.
Online/Virtual Education Programs
HCAF hosts approximately 100 live continuing education and professional development programs per year, both in-person and online/virtual. The typical cost for sponsoring a program is $10 per attendee with a maximum fee of $500. Fees are structured this way so that sponsors do not risk paying a lot of money if there are not very many attendees, and it also reduces the risk of paying an indeterminable amount if the program is very well-attended.
Online/virtual programs provide the following benefits of sponsorship:
- Your organization's logo on event-specific email promotions, the event registration webpage, and the program presentation.
- Verbal recognition of your organization through a promotional blurb (1-2 sentences that you provide, subject to approval) and a statement of appreciation for your support at the beginning and end of the program
- Distribution of marketing collateral (if provided) for attendees to download with the presentation materials (or provide a hyperlink to access the collateral).
- Access to the live webinar event for up to two company representatives.
- List of attendees provided after the program, including full names and mailing addresses (email address cannot be provided unless the attendee agrees to share at the time of registration).
If you are interested in sponsoring an online/virtual program, forward your organization's logo and the name of the program you wish to sponsor to Patti Heid, Senior Director, Best Practice and Compliance, at pheid@homecarefla.org, or call (850) 566-6999.
Home Care Connections
Home Care Connections are held biannually throughout the 11 health care regions of the state. A live/online event is also held. These regional events give home care professionals the opportunity to network with colleagues, obtain the latest industry news and updates, and discuss current issues and best practices. They are designed to be low-cost and conveniently located. Attendance is open to all, however, members enjoy lower registration rates.
There are three sponsorship levels for HCAF's Home Care Connections. These series are hosted twice per year (spring and fall). Additionally, statewide, live virtual events are held in the spring and fall for Medicare/Medicaid providers and Private Duty providers.
Virtual Sponsorship – $100 per event
Virtual sponsorship provides the following benefits:
- Your organization's logo on event-specific email promotions, the event registration webpage, and the program presentation.
- Verbal recognition of your organization at all in-person events and the virtual event through a promotional blurb (1-2 sentences that you provide, subject to approval) and a statement of appreciation for your support at the beginning and end of the program.
- Opportunity to distribute marketing materials that will be distributed to all attendees (in-person and virtual).
- List of attendees provided after the program, including full names and mailing addresses (email address cannot be provided unless the attendee agrees to share at the time of registration).
In-Person Sponsorship – $250 per event
All the benefits listed above for virtual sponsors will be provided for in-person sponsors, plus the following benefits:
- Opportunity to interact with attendees during the registration process and after the presentation(s).
- Tabletop display with your organization's signage and marketing materials, plus the opportunity to raffle off a prize to attendees.
- HCAF will make arrangements to spread catered food and beverage amongst, next to, or actually on the sponsor tables…think bait!
- HCAF staff will highly encourage attendees to interact and visit the tabletop displays before, during, and after the event.
Series Sponsorship
For series sponsors (can be a combination of virtual and in-person sponsorships), the following benefits are included:
- As time allows, only series sponsors will be given the opportunity to address the audience either before the event or when the networking break begins. We encourage such sponsors to provide their name, organization, and the one thing attendees will receive or learn if they visit your table during the networking break.
- Series sponsors (virtual, in-person, or a combination of both) will be included as a sponsor of virtual Connection event(s) at no charge.
- Opportunity to introduce one breakout session speaker at the next HomeCareCon Annual Conference & Trade Show.

Advocacy Days
HCAF's annual advocacy days in Tallahassee (spring) and Washington, D.C. (spring and fall) take place over two days and give industry professionals the opportunity to meet with policymakers to enhance their awareness of home care and advance industry priorities. Both events include a kickoff reception and policy briefing, followed by a full day of legislative meetings.
Sponsor support offsets the cost of the event, including developing and printing advocacy materials (e.g., fact sheets, legislator directories, etc.), travel, lodging, and meals. For sponsoring an advocacy day event, your organization's logo will be featured on all related email promotions, the event registration webpage, and advocacy handouts. Additionally, sponsors will be recognized by HCAF staff at the beginning of the kickoff reception and policy briefing. A representative is also able to address the audience and interact with attendees throughout the event.
Pricing varies for advocacy events. For more information, email Kyle Simon, Senior Director of Policy, Advocacy & Communications, at ksimon@homecarefla.org or call (850) 222-8967.
