Committees & Task Forces

At HCAF, your voice matters. One of the most meaningful ways to contribute to the direction and strength of Florida’s home care industry is by actively participating in our committees and task forces. These groups play a vital role in guiding HCAF’s advocacy, education, policy, and member engagement efforts — and we’re always looking for passionate, knowledgeable professionals like you to get involved.

Whether you’re interested in shaping public policy, planning educational programming, mentoring new professionals, or addressing operational challenges, there’s a group for you. Participating allows you to connect with peers, share your expertise, and make a tangible impact on the issues that matter most to our industry. It’s also a valuable opportunity to develop your leadership skills and expand your professional network.

For more information, please send us a message or call (850) 222-8967.

Committees

HCAF has four (4) standing committees that serve as the core of our organizational governance. Each committee has specific membership requirements and responsibilities:

Task Forces

HCAF currently hosts eight (8) active task forces dedicated to advancing key priorities in Florida’s home care industry. Created by the Board of Directors or the President, these groups focus on emerging issues and targeted initiatives that benefit the broader provider community. With flexible, project-based timelines, task forces are a great way to get involved without a long-term commitment.

Participation is open to all members in good standing — whether you’re a seasoned expert or new to the field, your voice and experience are welcome.
