On July 17, the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) issued two Emergency Rules to further prevent the spread of COVID-19 at Florida skilled nursing facilities (i.e., nursing homes) and assisted living facilities.

Both rules require facility staff to be tested for COVID-19 every two weeks with testing resources provided by the state and submit the test results to their employer/facility. The facility must keep copies of all staff testing documentation on site. The rules may be accessed below through AHCA's website.

AHCA resources related to COVID-19 can be accessed on its COVID-19 alerts for facilities and Medicaid providers website here.

Can we assume that the date of second lab results due date should be 14 days from the lab draw date, or should the results be 14 days from when the first results were printed from the lab?
