Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) is a formal program in health care, with CDI certified professionals in many hospitals. This webinar will discuss CDI in home health —explaining the various goals and objectives in order to excel in documentation. Primary goal is to prevent and avoid denials, maximize optimal reimbursement, and prevent condition-level deficiencies, immediate jeopardy, and sanctions. We are under such scrutiny in home health; this webinar will show you how to refine your documentation approach with a CDI program.
1. Understand a CDI program in home health.
2. Explain how CDI and Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) differ and can be blended.
3. Learn how to set up CDI to avoid denials and conditions.
4. Recognize how to ensure compliant documentation.
