HCAF is pleased to host two information packed events over the course of two days and all under one roof! Both of these events offer critical insight on all the changes and challenges that the home care industry will be facing, starting in 2019 and beyond.
These programs will go beyond merely reviewing the written regulations and the associated changes. Instead, they will take a deeper dive examining the overall impact the impending modifications will have on agencies of all sizes. Industry experts will explore agency processes, from both a clinical and agency operations perspective, and will provide attendees with real-world, practical strategies that can be put in motion now in order to achieve success in our ever-evolving industry.
On January 23, HCAF is pleased to be partnering with the National Association for Home Care & Hospice to present you the first PDGM (Patient-Driven Groupings Model) National Summit. PDGM will be the most consequential changes to impact home health in decades are coming in 2020 — are you ready? Agencies must prepare immediately for these radical regulatory changes, which will significantly impact virtually all aspects of payment methodology. Specific sessions will be offered on clinical services, financial management, operations, business analytics, and technology.
On January 24, HCAF will be hosting our fifth annual Home Care Warm Up. This event will provide practical guidance of what agencies need to be paying attention to and implementing today to survive the year ahead. Guidelines and tools will be shared, to help your clinical and financial processes comply with recently changed requirements, along with strategies for preparing for the adjustments that are coming soon. Specific sessions will be offered on OASIS-D, the Home Health Value-Based Purchasing Model, Medicare Conditions of Participation and patient outcomes, and the forthcoming Review Choice Demonstration.
