The Council of State Home Care & Hospice Associations’ Third Annual Public Policy Summit and Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill will be held September 9-10 at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C.
The Council has negotiated an overnight rate of $289 at the Fairmont Hotel, and the Policy Summit registration fee will stay the same as last year at $250 per person. This includes breakfast, lunch, and reception at the Public Policy Summit on September 9, and continental breakfast on Advocacy Day on September 10. HCAF staff will set up meetings with members of Congress for September 10.
Click here to review the summit agenda, which features Hillary Loeffler, Director of the CMS' Division of Home Health & Hospice, a Medicare Advantage industry leader, a CMS Medicaid official, and the Chief Medical Officer of CareCentrix, among others.
A key issue that will be discussed at the full-day summit on September 9 and with lawmakers on September 10 is the Home Health Payment Innovation Act (S.433/H.R.2357), a bill that seeks to prohibit CMS the forthcoming Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) payment cut.
We need your voice and as many Florida home health providers in attendance to share industry priorities with policy makers before it's too late!
